In one of many conversations, we decided, everyone has their own path to follow. This painting tries to illustrate that each one goes on their own path, sometimes we travel parallel, sometimes we only meet for a few minutes, or a few years, and on our way. This title is ‘Going My Way?” With a question mark. And these people are each going their own way but they somehow come together at this one part.

As another explanation, I paint my figures hairless nudes, because that way you cannot put them into history at any point. Hair and clothes would instantly determine where they were in history, this way they become more symbolic and I think expresses my thoughts a little better.
