About "Limited Edition" Prints
Not like all other prints, which are stretched and shipped out of our San Diego, California, USA fulfillment center. "Limited Edition" prints are not stretched, instead, they are shipped to you, mounted on a matted frame, ready to hang. Moreover, our "Limited Edition" prints have an extra special touch, considering they all feature Vernon Finney's signature. Each is hand titled and numbered, while being limited to 100 prints for each of the featured artworks.
Sketches: Dawn of the D
Vernon's brother Curt, also a US Navy veteran, had a nice home up in central California where they had fun exploring the deltas in the morningtime reight before sunrise. The first and second sketches show the time and difference in detail from one sketch to the other, as well as those of the final painting itself.
Take a glance at the first known sketch, done on February 16, 1980. There's a sketch for another painting in that sketch sheet, one titled "Darwin's Man". Both sketches were to become full fledged paintings, in 1980.
