This painting portrays a piece of cake in which the white cake stands in for the white man, whereas the icing is made up of dead dark colored people. The cake is placed on a golden plate. My main idea was to show how the white man has used the black man is its icing on the cake, meaning the riches and substance has only been possible by using the darker people as a means to an end. The inequalities of man illustrated in a single "Piece of Cake".
